Maria Betancourt

Maria Gabriela Betancourt of Seguin, Texas passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the age of 84.

She is survived by her daughters, Gilma Otero and husband Emiliano, Ligia Benjumea and husband Fabio, Martha Londoo and husband Carlos Mario, Adriana Reyes and husband Joe, and Cristina Arbelaez and husband Felix; sons, Gabriel Betancourt and wife Lucelly, Gonzalo Betancourt and wife Lucia Isabel, Elkin Betancourt and wife Luz Marina, Guillermo Betancourt and Rudy Garcia; grandchildren, Alexander Pizarro, Sandra and Mauricio Benjumea, Monica, Edwin, Liliana, and Claudia Londoo, Monica, Carlos, Claudia, Edgar and Diana Carolina Betancourt, Juan Felipe and Victor Manuel Betancourt, David and Bryan Betancourt, Kimberly, Steven and Kelsey Reyes; great-grandchildren, Jessica and Crystal Ramirez, Hannah Benjumea Welch, T.J. and Nick McGuire, Ryan and Ty Pizarro, Johana Nagore, Elaine, Valentin and Edward Briones, Alan Gabriel and Andrew Hidalgo, Juliana and Valeria Arroyave, Valentina Londoo; numerous sisters and brothers in Colombia, South America.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Betancourt; her son, Gustavo Betancourt; parents, Jose Joaquin Morales and Maria Felicidad Suarez.
