Maria "Mary" G. Leos, a beloved soul known for her generous spirit and lively presence, passed away on June 22, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1946, in Maxwell, TX. Maria's life was a tapestry woven with threads of devotion to her family, passion for helping others, and a deepened love for her community.

Maria dedicated 28 years of her life to Motorola, where she left an indelible mark before retiring. Additionally, she shared her creative talents as a hairdresser in Seguin for a few years. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Maria's true joy came from spending time with her family throughout the year, especially during holidays. She cherished preparing and sharing her famous recipes like oatmeal cookies, pumpkin bars, dressing and cabbage rolls with loved ones and her church family.

 Her kind and warm-hearted nature endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Maria's giving spirit and outgoing personality were matched only by her unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her zest for life and her smile illuminated every room she entered.

 In addition to touching countless hearts in her lifetime, Maria found solace in daily prayer and embarked on adventures around the world with her life partner, Natalio DeLeon. Cooking and baking for her family brought her immense joy--a sentiment that resonated deeply with all those fortunate enough to taste her creations.

 Among Maria's proudest accomplishments was her regular volunteer work at local Catholic churches in Seguin and being an active member of the St. Ann Circle--a testament to her unwavering faith and commitment to serving others.

Maria is preceded in death by her mother, Juliana Leal and daughter, Betty Magallanez.

She is survived by her significant other, Natalio DeLeon and her children: Julie Magallanez, Barbara Garcia (spouse Raul), Rita Arambula, Luis G.Tristan (spouse Amanda). Her legacy lives on through numerous grandchildren Erica Villareal, Debbie Villareal, Sarah Villareal, Krystal Lampkin, Andy Gallegos, Valarie Rodriguez, Author Borrego, Maximus Hernandez, Austin Arambula, Xzavier Tristan, Izaiah Tristan, Lukas Tristan, Valentino Trevino III., Zoey Sanchez, Jocelynn Martinez-- and great-grandchildren: Sarah, Emma, Mila, Kyli, Ava, Quin, Reese, Rylan, Kiaree, Kylia, Kiel, Khari, Kiyomi, Cobie, Elijah, Abrianna, Jacob and Juan along with one great-great-grandchild Cataliya.

 The celebration of Maria "Mary" G. Leos' life will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Seguin on June 29th with visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM a funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. All services will conclude at the church on Saturday morning. 

 Her memory will forever linger in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing such an exceptional woman— a beacon of love and light in this world. She will be greatly missed!
