Maria Natividad Rodriguez of Seguin, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2020 at the age of 77. She was born on January 11, 1943 to Juan Rodriguez and Gregoria Gil Rodriguez.
Maria Natividad Rodriguez was born on January 11, 1943 to Juan and Gregoria Rodriguez. Mom grew up in Stanton Texas and traveled with the family to follow field work in Michigan, Colorado, and Texas area. Mom has 6 children: Felipa, Robert, Gilbert, Josie, Ramon, and Henry. She was a single mother and raised her children in Nixon Texas then moved back to Seguin in 1981 where her mother and father are from and mother currently lived. Mom met Pops (Valentin De Leon) and it was true love and he helped raise the troubled children! Even tho they separated after 18 years there was still that connection between them that no matter where they were they looked for each other till death did them part.
Mom worked in the chicken plants in Nixon and Seguin until she retired. She lived in her home for approximately 15 years. She was the life of any family gatherings, she loved to dance, listen to music while she cleaned and cooked. She always threw the deuces up at any given time. She loves all her grandchildren and great and great-great grandchildren. Mom has a big heart and always willing to help and no matter what anyone did or said she was there to help them. She was a social butterfly and always has a smile on her face. Mom loved her gardening always took care of her plants and yard.
Mom was/is the glue for this family and we as her children will continue to do that for our family. Our mother went thru some hardships in her life but always did the best with what she had and always provided for us and did it with whole heart and spirit. We learn so much from her she taught us not to give up no matter what happened in life. She always come out of it smelling like roses and a smile. Mom will always be in our hearts and thank you mom for all that you did and will continue to do because we are a part of you and when people want to remember you all they have to do is look at your children and their children because you continue to live in us.
You still live in US.
