Maria De Jesus Moreno

Maria De Jesus Moreno gained her angel wings on June 23, 2021, at the age of 84. She was born on March 22, 1937, to Alfredo and Jacinta (Ramirez) Moreno in Maxwell, Texas.

Maria De Jesus was a quiet and reserved woman, but she had an abundance of love in her heart for her son and grandchildren. She was loving and hardworking and enjoyed watching novelas and sneaking in a sugary snack. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfredo, and Jacinta Moreno; her sister, Ernestina Bustos and brother, Guillermo “Willie” Moreno.

Left to cherish her memory is her only son, Andy Moreno; grandchildren, Elizabeth Villarreal, David Andrew Moreno and Rebekka Moreno; great-grandchildren, Landin Joel Sanchez, Nehemiah David Moreno, and Noah Anthony Moreno; her sister, Estela Montañez, Guadalupe Hiracheta, Aurora Lopez, and Angelica Rodriguez. Maria De Jesus is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, July 9th, 2021, at Palmer Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A brief memorial service will start at 7:00 p.m. and all services will conclude in the Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Friday evening.
