Marjorie Brandenberger

August 11, 1927 — July 11, 2015

Marjorie Stella Brandenberger, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born in Seguin, Texas on August 11, 1927 to Harry and Laura Blumberg.

She married Franklin W. Brandenberger on November 14, 1946 and they had two sons, Barry and Dennis.

She was a life long member of First United Methodist Church in Seguin. Marjorie enjoyed long term memberships, participating in the McQueeney Lions Club, American Legion Auxillary, the Abishai Mercer Dickson - Chapter of Guadalupe County - Daughter's of the Republic of Texas, for fun Triple 6's Bunco Clubs, the Lakettes, as well as the weekly bridge club at Seguin Assisted Living.

During WWII, She worked at Randolph Air Force Base and was chosen Miss Randolph. She later worked for 10 years as a church secretary for St. Paul's Lutheran Church in New Braunfels.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Evangeline.

Survivors include, her husband of almost 69 years, sons, Barry Brandenberger and wife Donna, and Dennis Brandenberger and wife Vickie; grandchildren, Amber, Justin and wife Lindsay, Wesley, Clint, Kristin Martinez and husband Mark; great grandchildren, Aiden, Axel, Addox, Astin, Angelica, Alize and a baby due in Decemeber (2015).

A Memorial Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
