Natividad Gomez

Natividad Rivera Gomez, of Seguin, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the age of 88. She was born in Guadalupe County, Texas on January 2, 1930 to Paula (Medina) and Feliciano Rivera, Sr.
She is preceded in death by her husband Julian Gomez, Sr., son Martin Gomez, granddaughter Tracy Annette Garcia, parents, and sister Consuelo Benavides.

Survivors include her children: Julian Gomez, Jr., and wife Elena, Rosemary G. Salinas, Ruben Gomez and wife Debbie, Mary Ellen Garcia and husband Antonio, Mario A. Gomez and wife Mary, Jesse Gomez and wife Noreen, and daughter in law Isabel Gomez; as well as 21 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, siblings: Teresa Gonzalez, Esperanza Castilleja, Feliciano Rivera, Jr., and Modesta "Molly" Connelly; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Natividad was an independent lady that was full of life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping and sharing a meal at restaurants. She loved dressing up and wearing jewelry. She and her husband were former owners of Gomez Taco Choice, she was fondly known as, Ms. Gomez, by those that knew her. She will be dearly missed by those that knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, December 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
