Ofelio Benitez

Ofelio Hernandez Benitez, age 24, of Seguin passed away on June 4, 2019. Ofelio was born on May 20, 1995 in Llano, Texas to Adan Benitez and Florentina Hernandez Benitez.
He is proceeded in death his brother, Angelito Benitez; Grandfathers, Lazaro Hernandez and Eutiquio Benitez.
He is survived by his parents, Adan and Florentina Benitez; brother, Adam Sky Benitez and sisters, Martha Julia Benitez, Ruby Clarissa Benitez and Milagros Guadalupe Benitez; both of his grandmothers, Facunda Covarrubias and Amalia Valdez and his best friend who was always there for Ofelio, Brandon Perez.
Ofelio was a fighter, he remained a brave iron willed spirit throughout his life. His illness will never defy who he truly was as he put up a brave fight. Ofelio was a funny and sweet soul who loved his family very much. He enjoyed his time playing video games and loved anime.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Palmer Mortuary, the chapel will be open at 9:00 a.m. and services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a formal procession leading to Victor Garza Memorial Park in Zuehl, Texas.
