Olivia Villegas

Olivia T. "Memo" Villegas, of Seguin, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 86. She was born in Seguin, Texas, to Francisco and Frances Tellez on May 12, 1932.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Simon Villegas; son, Reynaldo Villegas; daughter, Gloria Villegas; brother, Nick Tellez; and sister, Josie Carrillo.
Survivors include her sons, Gilbert T. Villegas and Corina; Jesse "Sapo" Villegas and Betty Lou; daughters, Bettie Le, Mary Helen Hernandez, Susie Guerrero and Ruben; step-brother Joe Villareal Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Olivia will be remembered as a loving and protective Memo. She loved plants, enjoyed going to dances and always had a zest for life. She loved and adored her family and loved having gatherings at her home.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at San Geronimo Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Villegas, Jr., Fabian Hernandez, Tyler Villegas, Kiet Le, Jr., Reynaldo Villegas, Jr. and Raymond Villegas. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Villegas, Derek Le, Derek Le, Jr., David Rosas and Reynaldo Villegas III.
