Pedro Arias

Pedro L. Arias, 67, of Seguin, passed away, peacefully, at this his home on Friday, December 16, 2016. He was born in Seguin, Texas on January 30, 1949 to Jesusa (Loera) and Jose Arias.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jacob Arias, parents and brothers, Eugene, Herman and Enrique Arias.

Survivors include his wife, Lorenza (Lori) Chavez Arias, daughter Norma Arias, grandson, Eddie Montoya, Jr., step daughter, Monica Vara and husband Ceasar, and step granddaughters, Megan, Lauren and Kaitlyn Vara; and siblings, Manuel Arias, Willie Arias and wife Christina, Gloria Casarez and husband Jose, Maria A. Valdez, Mary Lou Guel and husband Inocencio, Juana Arias, and Candelaria Cunningham and husband Felton.

Pedro was a Vietnam Veteran and an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was a very strong, helpful and loving man. He will be missed by those that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (409 W. Krezdorn Street, Seguin, TX 78155 (830)379-4338) on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Jesse, San Juan, Leo, Kevin, Joey and Willie Arias, Jr.
