Pedro Jimenez

Pedro Pete C. Jimenez of Seguin, TX was born in Trinidad, Colorado on August 1, 1930 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the age of 77 years. Pete retired from SMI now known as CMC on December 1994 after working 39 years. Mr. Jimenez is survived by his Loving wife of 52 years, Angelita Jimenez; son Armando G. Jimenez and wife Minerva, daughters Rose Mary J. Flores and husband Juan, Yolanda Newman, Sylvia J. Lomas and husband Manuel, and Irene J. Sanchez and husband Richard all of Seguin; sister, Erlinda Nieto of San Antonio; brothers, Paul C. Jimenez and wife Pauline of Austin, and Juan C. Jimenez of Seguin; 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Pedro was preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Vita C. Jimenez, and by a sister, Hilaria Castillo.

A visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Tuesday, December 4, 2007 from 6-9PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning, December 5, 2007 beginning at 8:00 AM and lasting until 9:00 PM, with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:30PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.
