Perfecto G. Leal, affectionately known as "Pepe," passed peacefully on September 9 2024, in his beloved hometown of Seguin, Texas. He was born on July 25, 1939, and throughout his life, he dedicated himself to a career in construction, where his hard work and determination shone brightly.

Pepe was well known for being kind, gentle, and friendly. He possessed a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. His warm-hearted nature made him cherished not only by his family but also by friends and acquaintances alike. He had an infectious spirit, often seen giving hugs and kisses to his children and grandchildren, a testament to the love he harbored for his family.

In his leisure time, Perfecto found great pleasure in watching Dallas Cowboys games and immersing himself in the vibrant sounds of Tejano music, which resonated deeply with him. During his later years at the Nesbit nursing home, he enjoyed engaging in activities such as bingo and dominoes, where he formed connections with fellow residents, further illustrating his love for companionship and community.

Pepe is survived by his beloved sisters, Angelita Rodriguez, Mary (Jose) Medellin, Josefina (Adolfo) Robledo, and Maria Verdeja. He leaves behind a loving legacy through his sons, Steve Leal and Patrick (Maryann) Leal, as well as his daughters, Cindy (Leo) Leija and Linda (Gilbert) Cardona. He was also the proud grandfather to numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each holding a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Leal, and his mother, Elvira Leal, along with his ex-wife, Esperanza M. Leal, and daughter-in-law, Maria Casas.

Perfecto G. Leal will be remembered for his unwavering love, generous spirit, and the immense joy he brought into the lives of others. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him. Although he no longer walks with us here on earth he is walking with our Lord Jesus now. Any and all who came to know "Pepe" will truly miss him. In our hearts and minds we know we will see him again. Thank you Jesus for the time that you gave us with our son, brother, husband, father and friend. So now Lord he goes to you, so that you can enjoy his presence in person.
