Plutarco Vigil

Plutarco Vigil of Seguin, passed away on January 25, 2014 at the age of 70.

He was born in Seguin, Texas to Serapio Vigil and Teresa Perez on
July 28, 1943. He married Ofelia Perez on April 9, 1973 in Austin, Texas.
He worked as a tire technician for many companies for more then 40 years.

Plutarco is preceded in death by parents, Serapio and Teresa siblings, Margarito, Chavela, Fernando, Jesus, Ramona, Julia, and Teresa.

Survivors include daughter Joanne Cervantes and husband Jerome W. son Fernando Vigil and wife Leticia siblings, Apalonia, Toribio, Adela, Margarita, Juan, and Cruz grandchildren, Isaiah Jamison Vigil, Isabella Sahaila Cervantes, Manuel F. Perez, Jonathon Vigil, Shelly Vigil, and Jovanny Vigil.

Pallbearers will be: Fernando Vigil, Piedad Vigil, Silbiano Gonzales Jr., Ray Vigil, Jose Davilla, Ruben Ortiz and Honorary Pallbearer will be Isaiah Vigil.

The family of Plutarco Vigil wishes to extend our sincere thanks to, Piedad and Ray Vigil, Beatrice, Maria, Pastor Don Crane of DF Food Ministries, Silbiano, Beatris Cervantes and family, Ofelia and Elena Gallardo as well as many other family and friends in the Seguin and Austin area.

There will be a Rosary will be at Palmer Mortuary at 7:00 p. m. on Wednesday February 5, 2014. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the name of minister of Our Lady of Guadalupe officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
