Ricky Harbort

Ricky Ryan Harbort, age 65 of Seguin, Texas peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 8, 1953 in Seguin, Texas. The oldest son of Juanita and John McWhorter of Seguin, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his dad, John McWhorter and his grandparents, Carl and Alice Lee McCallay.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Susan Lea Harbort; sons, Ryan and James; daughter-in-law, Natalie; daughter, Abby; grandchildren, Justin, Kenzie, Lily, Rylee, Kyree and Wyatt; his mother, Juanita McCallay McWhorter; his siblings, Laura McFadden, Phil Harbort, Chuck McWhorter, Sherri Jones and brother-in-law Alan Jones. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Ricky was retired after many years as a journeyman plumber. In his spare time he loved to deer hunt and watch a good old Sunday NASCAR race. He loved being the best Grandpa to his grandchildren. Ricky will be deeply missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Palmer Mortuary Chapel.
