Ronné Jaye Lippenholz, our bold and spirited matriarch, left this world on October 14, 2024, at the age of 76, in Seguin, Texas. A transplant from Baltimore, Maryland, Ronné was guided by a fierce love for her family. She embraced 58 years as best friend and loving wife to Bruce Lippenholz; was an adoring and supportive mother to son and daughter-in-law, Scot & Connie Lippenholz; and an utterly devoted Mom-Mom to her cherished grandchildren, Rylee and Grant Lippenholz. Ronné also leaves behind her treasured sister, Nancy Tamres, along with many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. Finally, she leaves behind her beloved dog, Blue. She was preceded in death by her parents, Saul and Charlotte Berenson (nee Horwitz,) and their first dog that was "her's", Maggie Mae.
Ahead of her time, Ronné was a working mother and successful professional. Ronné earned a Master's degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in Education from Johns Hopkins University, dedicating her professional life to a career with Baltimore City Public Schools. She worked through the ranks as a special education teacher, Principal, and Human Resources professional, then spent her early retirement years as a Director with The Goddard School in Eldersburg, MD, where she enjoyed also sharing her days with her grandchildren. Needless to say, her wisdom and passion inspired countless students through the years.
We are forever grateful for the time we shared with such a revered character. Ronné was a "spitfire" who has left behind a legacy of family, friends, and students. Her wry laughter, sassy humor, and outspokenness allowed her to face life's challenges with strength and zeal. She will be deeply missed but certainly never forgotten, through the countless lives she touched. Because Ronné prioritized her family above all else, we ask that you do the same - hug someone, make that phone call you've been meaning to get to, schedule a "Sunday Dinner" with your loved ones.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024. Please feel free to contribute your favorite images to our photo album. We also treasure any Ronné stories you choose to share in the Guest Book or directly with us, whether funny, strange, or touching.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage memorial donations to Charming Pet Rescue or SNIPSA, in honor of Ronné's devotion to her dog. (Please disregard the flower links on this page, as it is built in to the site and we are unable to remove.)
