Rosalinda was a loving wife and mother and her three grandchildren were her joy in life. She loved to cook and feed all her family no one ever left her house without some kind of dish in hand or a full stomach. The doors to her home were always open and this is where the family gathered. She only had one child but her home was always filled with many, many nieces and nephews she loved as her own. She was generous and giving to anyone in need and was always ready and willing to help her family in any way she could.
After being a housewife for many years, she began teaching at Head Start of Seguin and was determined to pursue an education in early childhood education. She loved all the little ones she taught at Head Start and was passionate about her role as teacher and worked many hours preparing lessons at home. After 15 years at Head Start, she reluctantly gave up teaching due to health problems. She later enjoyed helping her sister Janie at her family restaurant where she loved greeting and talking with customers but most of all working with her family members.
Not only a devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt, Rosalinda was a devoted daughter and had a special and close relationship with her mother Angelita Soto who passed away only weeks ago. The two are now united in Gods glory.
