Rudolfo Gomez III, affectionately known as Tre, born on January 10, 1990, in Seguin, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2024 He was a beloved son, brother, father, and partner vibrant presence touched the lives of many.
Tre dedicated his career to Legend Energy, where he passionately worked in the oilfield, embodying a strong work ethic and dedication to his. Outside of work, he was known for his culinary skills; many fondly remembered him as the best cook, bringing joy to family gatherings with his delicious meals.
A man of deep compassion, Tre was the most caring person one could encounter. He possessed a generous spirit, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His humorous nature was infectious, and he had an extraordinary ability to make anyone laugh. Tre’s personality shone brightly, making him a cherished friend and confidant.
Despite battling Alports Disease and Kidney Disease for the last three years, and a recent diagnosis of Lupus, Tre fought valiantly against these hardships with an unwavering spirit. His determination and resilience in the face of such challenges were truly inspirational, showcasing his strength of character.
Tre enjoyed various hobbies, including shooting guns, building his classic car, and proudly supporting his favorite team, the Texans. He found joy and solace in these activities, often sharing them with loved ones.
His proudest accomplishments were his six children, Rayvenne, Xavier, Jayla, Zaylie, Taylinn, Ezekiel Gomez and his grandson Alonso. Tre loved being a father and grandfather above all, investing time and love into nurturing their growth and happiness. He is also survived by his fiancé Kelsey Tristan, who brought joy and support into his life.
Tre was deeply loved by his parents, Jeannette Cardenas and Rudy Gomez Jr., and cherished by his siblings Frankie, Jesseca, Alexis, Johnathan, Joey, Viviana and Myles. His memory will also be held dear by his maternal grandmother Sarah Sandoval, paternal grandparents Rodulfo and Dalia Gomez Sr, and his nieces Jazzlyn and Malahnie, along with his one and only nephew J’Marcus. The love of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members and friends will continue to keep Tre's spirit alive.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Cardenas, who will be remembered fondly.
Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm.
Visitation will continue at Palmer Mortuary on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 starting at 8:30am and a procession will depart the Palmer Mortuary Chapel at 9:30am for a Mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10am. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery.
As we remember Rudolfo Gomez III, we celebrate his legacy as a loving father, devoted son, and wonderful friend. His laughter, kindness, and indomitable spirit will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
