Mrs. Salome B. Morales, born in Pandora, Texas on May 5, 1933 passed away on March 3, 2011 at the age of 77. She is preceded in death by her husband David Morales and a son Candelario Morales.

Mrs. Morales is survived by her Daughters Virginia Munro, Oralia Leos and husband Luz Leos, Jr. and Son Johnnie Morales, Grandchildren Amy Tavera Valadez, Ernest Tavera, Jr., Jessica Munro, Samantha Munro, and Justin Morales and GreatGrandchildren:Nicole Tavera, Mark Valadez, Jr., Hailey Balderas, Julie Valadez, Chole Tavera, Justice Balderas, Adriana Tavera and Aidan Balderas. She is also survived by a brother Macedonio Barnhardt, who resides in San Antonio, Texas and a sister Juanita Flores of Pandora, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled for Monday March 14, 2011 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at Palmer Mortuary Chapel with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2011 at 12:30 PM at Westside Baptist Church. The interment is to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 PM.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for all of the kindness and compansion that the staff of Windsor Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice extended to Mrs. Salome Morales during her stay.
