Santiago Belmarez Jr., of Seguin, passed away at Walnut Springs Nursing Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 71. He was born in Seguin, Texas on March 5, 1950, to Santiago Belmarez Sr. and Geronima Velasquez.
Santiago is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Virginia Magana and Frances Luna.
Survivors include his brothers, Joe Belmarez & Lupita, Felix Belmarez & Martha; Luis Belmarez & Isabel; sister, Barbara Belmarez; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Mortuary Chapel with the Holy Rosary recited at 11:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:15 a.m. with Burial following at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
