Secundina Paez

Secundina Collazo Paez, went to be with her Lord at the age of 95 on Friday, January 29, 2010. She was born on May 21, 1914 to the late Aurelio Collazo and Refugia Minjares Collazo in Hondo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fernando Paez Sr. and three infant daughters, Emma, Maria, and Alicia. Survivors include 1 sister, Cipriana Meza Bensenville, IL 7 children: Margarita Castellanos Jose A. El Campo, TX Ernestina Mata Alex Seguin, TX Victoria Higle Bill Seguin, TX Fernando Paez Jr., San Antonio, TX Roy Paez Sara Marion, TX Gloria Garner Ronnie Palestine, TX and Phillip Paez Valarie Universal City, TX 20 grandchildren, numerous greatgrand and greatgreat grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a multitude of relatives and friends. She always felt blessed to have such a full, meaningful life with family and friends. Her wonderful family stories and sense of humor will be missed by all.

Palmer Mortuary will hold a Visitation Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 4 9 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
