Stella Navarro Garza of Seguin, Texas was born on March 1, 1969 and was called home to the House of the Lord after a brave battle on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the age of 52.
Stella was an amazing, hard working woman who enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, and spending time with her children and grandson. She loved to have a good time and could always brighten up a room with her high spirits! She was known for loving all things purple and butterflies. She will be dearly missed by her family, but we are all incredibly grateful that she is now resting in heaven above with her beloved husband.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Valdez Garza; her parents, Cruz Sepeda and Rosa Soila Caballero; brothers, Roy Sepeda and Aurelio Sepeda and sister, Maria Sepeda.
Stella is survived by her children Diana Garza (Miguel Cruz), Janie Garza (Ginger Gomez), Noel Garza (Valerie McHaney), James Garza, Julian Navarro and Rudy Sanchez Jr.; grandchildren, Jaycen Jimmy Garza, Azlyn Sanchez, Benito Sanchez and Rudy Sanchez III; sisters, Celeste Muñoz, Leticia Lopez (Adam Lopez), Angelica Medrano, Michelle Reyes, Irene Sepeda, Kruzette Pena, Mari Enriquez, Ruby Valdez and Chela Marquez; brothers, Jerry Sanchez (Liz-Ann Trevino), Leo Caballero, Cruz Sepeda Jr., Paul Sepeda, Vicky “Nonniez” Diaz and Joseph Medrano.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Palmer Mortuary followed by recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 p.m. A final viewing will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. Procession will depart the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
All guests attending services at the funeral home and the church are required to wear a face covering.
