Tammy Lynn Hitchcock, a beloved daughter, aunt and friend, passed away in Seguin, Texas on May 12, 2024 at the age of 56. Born on June 13, 1967, in San Marcos, Tammy lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and memories.
Tammy was known for her profound love for her family, especially her nephews who held a special place in her heart, she referred to them affectionately as "her boys." Tammy's warm and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her.
Apart from her devotion to family, Tammy had a diverse set of interests that brought joy to her life. She had a passion for storytelling and enjoyed engaging in chit chat and gossip sessions with her best friend Peggy. A true country gal at heart, Tammy found solace in fishing and embraced the simple pleasures of living close to nature.
In remembering Tammy, we celebrate the cherished moments shared with her and the love she so freely gave to those around her. Her memory will live on through the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
Tammy Lynn Hitchcock is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Geneva Hitchcock; sisters Carla Kay Wyly, Vickie Jean Baird, and Patricia Ann Eller; as well as her life partner, Johnny Gregory. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever treasured by her surviving family and friends.
Left to cherish Tammy's memory are her nephews: Robert Wayne Hitchcock and wife Laura Hitchcock, Justin Wyly and wife Dalana Maxine Wyly, Benjamin Franklin Wyly and wife Celeste Nicole Wyly, Tyler Joseph Wyly and wife Amanda Evelyn Wyly; along with great-nieces and nephews Lilly, Haley, Landon, Hunter, and Brooke. Additionally, Tammy's best friend Peggy Hoisington will hold dear the laughter-filled moments they shared together.
Tammy Lynn Hitchcock's presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace knowing that she was loved by many and that her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who were touched by her warm soul.
