Yolanda R. Gonzales

Yolanda R Gonzales (Resendez), of Seguin, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2023 at GRMC.

Yolanda was born on September 3, 1948 in Seguin, Texas. She put her passion and care into her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant before becoming a beautician. Yolanda cherished the time she spent working with the residents at Rio Terra. Yolanda was a loving and devoted wife, having married Gilbert on October 19, 1969. She was known for her passion for animals, particularly cats and dogs, as well as for her skill in sewing and quilting.

Yolanda is survived by her beloved husband Gilbert; her sons Gilbert Orlando (Nancy) and Antonio Reynaldo (Michelle); and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her only sister, Rachel Medina. Yolanda was preceded in death by her Mother, Eva Resendez; Father, Salome Resendez.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Yolanda at Palmers Mortuary on Thursday, September 28th from 4pm to 8pm, with a prayer service at 7pm. On Friday, September 29th, there will be a Mass held at Our Lady of Guadalupe at 10am, followed by a graveside service at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a charity of their choice. The family also welcomes expressions of condolences and other family wishes.
