On May 1, 1940 a beautiful daughter, Zora Bell Clack was born to Robert and Eldoria Hartfield Stevenson in St Hedwig, Texas. She was affectionately known as “Dute” by her family and friends.
As a person, Dute was very strong-willed, outspoken, and opinionated. But she also had so much dignity. Her beautiful smile greeted all her friends and family. As a mom, she believed in discipline and tough love.
She loved playing dominoes and going to bingo. In her spare time, she sewed clothes and put together jigsaw puzzles. She really loved spending time with her family and friends.
Dute was always willing to serve others. She had a beautiful and rewarding life. She was a genuine friend, a great momma and grandmother, and wife.
In leaving this earth, she left so many great memories for her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Troy Clack, Dora Washington (Don), Debra Clack, Rodney Clack (Mary), and Margaret Clack (Price).
She is survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Her siblings Alfred Francis (Debbie), Robert Stevenson, Ora Carter, Margaret Eley, and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends are also left to mourn her death.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her daughter Evelyn Clack, her great-grandson Jason Sanchez, and siblings Albert Miller, Milton Fields, and Evelyn Batton.
